Now serving the communities of St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis, Local 110 Electricians, United States Federal Employees, and many other organizations as well as their families, St. Paul Federal Credit Union’s roots are traced back to 1953.\u00a0\u00a0 The Credit Union was originally chartered by a group of St. Paul Electricians to serve the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110 in November 1953.\u00a0 Over time the Credit Union grew and in 1987 it was converted to a federal charter to add the family members of the electricians to its field of membership.<\/p>\n
In 2004, St. Paul Federal Credit Union opened its doors to the community.\u00a0 The city of St. Paul was added to its membership and gave our St. Paul neighborhoods an opportunity to receive the benefits of being a Credit Union Member.\u00a0 Then in 2008, through a merge with Capital Trust Federal Credit Union, St. Paul Federal proudly added United States Federal Employees and downtown Minneapolis to its field of membership.\u00a0 The Credit Union now has over 10,000 members and three branch locations spread across St. Paul.<\/p>\n
